WILLIAM LASH
President and Chief Executive Officer, Chirality Capital Consulting
Mr. William G. Lash, Sr., is the President and CEO of Chirality Capital Consulting. Mr. Lash has over twenty years of experience in IT strategy, systems, and process/program management. He is experienced in all phases of the project management and systems/software development lifecycle.
Mr. Lash has led several efforts to provide business strategy, change management, and systems solutions to a variety of private and public sector clients. In addition to process improvement, Mr. Lash is proficient in strategic alliances, strategic communications, competency modeling, requirements analyses, quality assurance testing, and training delivery.
Mr. Lash has garnered significant continuous improvement results in the manufacturing, service, and transactional markets. Mr. Lash is an entrepreneur who has professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Master Black Belt), Project Management Institute Project Management Professional, Technical Business Management, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library.
Mr. Lash has received numerous awards and recognitions for his exemplary leadership, process improvement, engineering, and oratorical capabilities, such as the 40 under 40 of Prince George’s County, Modern Day Technology Leader, and American Society of Military Comptrollers Meritorious Award.
He has served on various panels to promote the enhancement of opportunities for minorities in technology careers, improve processes, and provide leadership in activities that foster a better understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). He has also served as a speaker/presenter at the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) Conference and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) National Convention.
Mr. Lash served as Vice President of the Washington, DC, Chapter of North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Association, Inc., as well as the Vice President of the OLA Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Currently Mr. Lash serves as a board member for the National Capital Region of March of Dimes; member of the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, D.C.; life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; and member of Vistage Worldwide, Inc., for CEOs and Key Executives.
Mr. Lash is a proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and George Mason University with a Master of Science in Systems Engineering. He is a technical professional with high academic standards for excellence, integrity, and achievement. DR. STEVEN MINKIN
President and Chief Executive Officer, Teksouth
Dr. Steven Minkin started with Teksouth in 2019 and served as the Director of Continuous Process Improvement prior to being selected to serve as President in 2020. Prior to joining the Teksouth family, Dr. Minkin served 27 years as an Air Force Officer and retired in the rank of Colonel. During his Air Force career, he served as a Chief Financial Officer at several locations around the world, including the Air Force Pentagon.
During his Air Force career, Dr. Minkin served as a member of the Financial Management Board of Directors, leading the professional development and training of over 4,500 Air Force financial management professionals. He was responsible for the formulations, development, and presentation of the Air Force’s $43B annual operations and maintenance budget. This budget funded all Air Force operations, to include the Global War on Terrorism and Overseas Contingency Operations.
Dr. Minkin also served as the Chief Financial Officer for Air Combat Command. Leading a team of 48 personnel and responsible for 20+ operating locations across the globe, he was responsible for ensuring American airpower was properly funded, trained, and ready to meet the nation’s needs. His leadership ensured stateside and deployed units were able to respond to national threats and support the objectives of the President and Congress.
While on active duty, Dr. Minkin earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Air Force. He led the facilitation of enterprise-level projects to streamline financial operations, developed strategic engagement plans, and created the governance and structure for new organizations. His facilitation skills were called up on by private sector partners to help improve pricing and production of aircraft replacement parts. As the lead facilitator for an Air Force-wide travel project, Dr. Minkin led the team to find improvement that reduced travel settlement payments by over 40 work hours and improved process accuracy by over 70%. He is also an internationally published author and speaker on the topics of leadership, virtual teams, data analytics, and process improvement.
In his current role, Dr. Minkin leads the day-to-day operation of Teksouth. He leads the development and creation of the company’s strategic plan and the formulation of annual performance goals and measures. His team of senior leaders oversee all operations of the company, including human resources, finance, marketing, sales, continuous process improvement, business development, customer experience, product research and development, and client engagements.
